Stay in the loop with the growing liberty movement
October 2025
Dear friends,
It’s hard to believe that it’s already been one month since the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Like Charlie, we believe in a philosophy of peaceful disagreement and respectful dialogue about the issues that matter most in society. The right to communicate freely—to agree or disagree loudly and vociferously—is an essential pillar of a free society.
The recent rise in political violence is deeply disturbing and stands in direct opposition to the principles of liberty. We remain committed to encouraging connection, understanding, and the free exchange of ideas—because it’s only through open dialogue that we can continue to strengthen the cause of freedom and build a society worthy of it.
Now is a time not to retreat, but to reaffirm our commitment to those ideals. We encourage everyone to stay engaged—attend events, connect with others in the movement, and continue to share and defend the ideas that make a free and open society possible.

144 Years of Ludwig von Mises

September 29 marked the 144th anniversary of Ludwig von Mises’ birth. Born in 1881, Mises galvanized the Austrian school of economics into an intellectual engine against collectivism, championing praxeology—the science of human action—as the foundation for understanding purposeful behavior in an uncertain world. His devastating critique of socialism, revealing its fatal flaw in economic calculation without market prices, exposed the illusions of central planning and defended free markets, sound money, and individual liberty as the true engines of prosperity and civilization. Mises's ideas ignited a renaissance in libertarian thought, influencing generations to value voluntary cooperation over coercion and reminding us that the power of ideas can alter the course of history.
For more on the life and enduring legacy of Ludwig von Mises, we invite you to check out this short feature from our friends at the American Institute for Economic Research:
